Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos and Proyectos 9 celebrated the laying of the first stone of the mixed-use SOHL complex in the city of Monterrey.

Accompanied by more than 350 attendees, including investors, state and municipal authorities, Javier Sordo Madaleno Bringas and Fernando Sordo Madaleno de Haro, in the company of Proyectos 9 representatives, celebrated the symbolic placing of the first stone and the official start of construction of the SOHL project.

SOHL will bring together offices, apartments and retail space in a principal tower standing 262 meters high, in addition to offering a linear park and boutique hotels, as part of a Master Plan for the regeneration of downtown Monterrey.

This architectural project adds 25,000 meters of residential space across 24 levels, 28,000 meters of offices on 27 levels and a retail area of 25,000 square meters. The construction is expected to be concluded in 2022.
