SMA awarded top prize by the 10th CIDI Biennial
Solaz Los Cabos and Hyatt Regency Andares, both projects by Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos, won high praise at the 10th Biennial of Interior and Landscape Design of the Ibero-American Interior Design Council (CIDI).
On October 15 this year, the Four Seasons hotel in Mexico City hosted the awards ceremony for the 10th Biennial of Interior and Landscape Design of the Ibero-American Interior Design Council 2019-2020, with SMA coming out on top. Enrique Ralph and Nadia Borrás, directors of the interior design department at SMA, received the awards in the name of the architecture department.
The Ibero-American Interior Design Council (CIDI) awarded prizes to two major projects by the firm: Hyatt Regency Andares received two honorable mentions in the category Hospitality – Urban Hotels; while Solaz Los Cabos received the Gold Medal in the category Hospitality – Hotels, Resorts & Spas, as well as the top award of the night: the Black & Gold Medal.View the Project
