Collaboration with Design House during Design Week Mexico 2015

The interior design department of SMA leaded by Nadia Borrás conceived the reinterpretation of the library concept, transforming it into a dynamic space for the interaction of light and shadow, solid and transparency, discretion and boldness, positive and negative. Among the pleats of an unfolding accordion -inspired by traditional Japanese books- an assortment of books, magazines and pieces of craftwork are displayed. The rhythm of the lightweight panels of the enclosure, duplicated to form a visual effect, fluidly invite the viewer to explore the double spatial interpretation, and to discover what it contains, complemented with select items of furniture.
