Nueve Nueve Restaurant and 21 CRITs win awards from the CIDI
Nueve Nueve Restaurant wins first place in the CIDI awards ceremony, together with the 21 award-winning CRITs named "Emblematic Building of 2014".
Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos is proud to receive the gold medal for the North America region of the 7th Biennial from CIDI (Ibero-American Council of Interior Designers) for the "Nueve Nueve Bistró Mexicano" and the prize for emblematic building 2014 for the 21 Telethon Children's Rehabilitation Centers (CRITs) located across Mexico, in the Health and Social Responsibility sector. On October 15, 2014 the ceremony was held in the Four Seasons Hotel in Mexico, with the presentation of 19 Gold Medals in different categories and 63 Special Mentions for finalists. The award-winning restaurant, whose design was led by Nadia Borrás Markovi, SMA's Director of Interior Design, is located in the heart of Mexico City's Roma neighborhood. It shares a listed building that dates from 1910 with the Casa Lamm Cultural Center, which includes an art gallery, events program, and educational courses. The intention to harmonize classical and contemporary language is visible in every detail. To read more about the project click here.
