“FOR ME IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT THE TEAM I AM WORKING WITH IS COMPLETE, SINCE THIS IS REFLECTED IN THE PROJECT…”
Alejandro QuirosProject Leader
"Alejandro Quiros Ramos was born in the city of Puebla in 1974. He studied Architecture at the Iberoamericana University and graduated in 1999.
For over 14 years Alejandro has been a key part of the Sordo Madaleno team, where he has been developer and designer on projects of different scales and types.
For Alejandro, each project represents a challenge, regardless of scale, from a small house to the tallest tower in the city. He approaches all his projects with the same passion and commitment. His architectural design ability, capacity for leadership, wide-ranging construction knowledge and skill at organizing teamwork led him to be made Project Leader at Sordo Madaleno in 2005, a position he retains to this day.
“Understanding the role of architecture in everyday life, and the importance and impact it has on society is transcendental…”
Alejandro’s supervision and design have made themselves felt on a number of projects including the Residencial Marena Acapulco, the Bancomer Tower, the Chroma Corporate Headquarters in Monterrey, the Gentor Tower, the development of Isla Pasión in Cozumel and the Reforma Colón Tower, which will be the tallest building in Mexico City with 65 floors.
The process of having participated in the various phases of an architectural project, from the design and development through to the project construction, while being involved with the needs of the client, comprises a global vision in Alejandro’s mode of working, where the understanding of each and the relation between them has served to consolidate his work."
